My name is Kayla. I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Orlando and Gainesville, Florida. I am currently a senior at the University of Florida pursuing a major in advertising. I am fascinated by all of the different aspects of the major: design, photography, storytelling, sales, etc. I have taken what I have learned from my major and applied it to my photography business today.
I am originally from Orlando, Florida (right behind Walt Disney World!)
I have experience shooting engagements, high school seniors, college graduates and weddings. My favorite photo shoots are outdoor shoots right before sunset (otherwise known as the "Golden Hour"). I love to meet new people and work to capture photos that show each client’s personality.
I hope to work with you to create fun and candid images that enable you to cherish the moment forever.
This is my mostly-blonde-looking family of 4 plus 2 doggies. I have my Mom (Angie), Dad (Mike), my brother (Michael), Scooter and Buster. Scooter is a Cockapoo and Buster is a Golden Doodle (They are a big fluffy reason I love visiting home!) I am very thankful for my family and for my pups.
My most memorable experience in college so far has been studying abroad with the College of Journalism and Communications at UF. I was a part of a group of 80 students who traveled to London and Greece (Mykonos, Santorini and Athens). I made some of my closest friends on this trip that I still spend time with today. I went out of my comfort zone to explore new places, took interesting classes, tried new foods and figured out travel logistics on my own for the first time.
Other unique places I have been to: Costa Rica, Malawi, Paris, Bahamas, Aruba
Places on my Bucket List: Australia, Italy, California
